Sisterhood, love, and friendship. These are the words that come to mind when our members think of Zeta Tau Alpha. For over 100 years the DC Alumnae chapter has embodied these values. Although the ZTA experience begins in college, it extends far beyond four years. We are an organization of women thriving on tradition, friendship, and involvement. The ladies of DC Zetas are a dynamic and diverse group of Zetas. Our interests range from sisterhood, philanthropy, service, networking, leadership, and having lots of sisterly fun! Congratulations to our chapter for being awarded Crown Chapter for the 2022-2024 biennium, and we are honored to have been awarded the Silver Award for Alumnae Programming for a medium sized chapter.
These awards recognize that the chapter has done everything “required” of them but gone above and beyond standards to reach a higher level of sisterhood. We have worked hard reaching our goals of membership, communication, foundation donations, philanthropy, and social media branding. We continue to work with our local collegiate chapter, and have several members in advising roles. We also have many sisters who take on an active role within the chapter as well as local and national roles within ZTA, including national committee members and national officers.
